A plain phone camera is enough. Five photos, taken in good light. Each card shows how to frame the shot.

Find good light Daylight from a window works better than an overhead light. Face the window, not away from it.
Smile straight on Hold the phone at eye level, look into the lens and smile so the teeth show.
Teeth together Bite down on the back teeth and gently pull the lips back with two fingers, so every front tooth shows.
Upper teeth Tilt the head back and open wide. Photograph the upper teeth from below, or in a mirror.
Lower teeth Tilt the head down and open wide. Photograph the lower teeth from above, or in a mirror.
Side profile Turn sideways, relax the lips and look straight ahead. Keep the whole face and chin in the frame.

Is this a diagnosis?

No. It is a first look from photos. A diagnosis and a treatment plan only come after an exam at the clinic.

Who sees my photos?

Only the clinic, in your WhatsApp chat. This page stores nothing, and the checklist stays on your phone.

Can someone else take the photos?

Yes, it is often easier. A mirror or the camera timer works too.

What if a photo comes out blurry?

Send what you have. If a shot is not clear, you will be asked for it again in the chat.

Which languages can I write in?

Arabic, English, French or Danish. Dr. Mashaly consults in all four.
